Response of some important medicinal plants of Uttarakhand to different soil amendments

In this study, the effect of various treatment combinations on growth parameters medicinal plants and soil properties under was studied. The experiment conducted at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun to study selected plant species viz, Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) Ocimum africanum (Lemon tulsi) tenuiflorum (Kapoor Andrographis paniculata (Kalmegh) different treatments using “soilization” technique. technique commercially available sand made productive fertile by applying combination SAND + COMPOST, COMPOST CMC NPK, CONTROL (Sand).
